Does AI know who you are?
Recruiters and clients now ask AI assistants for people. Type your name and role and see whether an AI with web search can describe you, and whether it names you in your field. Free, no sign-up.
What the result means
- AI knows who you are: it found pages about you and could describe you. Check that what it says is right; wrong facts usually come from an old or mismatched profile.
- AI couldn’t say: there isn’t a clear public page about you, or your name is shared with someone better known. A personal page that states your role, city and work, linked from LinkedIn, is the most direct fix.
- Named in your field: rare for most people, and it changes week to week. Being cited on lists, directories and articles in your field is what moves it.
Questions
How does the AI visibility checker work?
It asks Claude, with live web search, the questions a recruiter or client would: "Who is [you]?" and "Who are good [role]s in [city]?" Then it checks whether the answers name you.
Is it the same as ChatGPT or Gemini?
No. Each assistant searches differently and answers vary from run to run. This is one free snapshot. featurd's AI Radar checks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity regularly for members.
Can anyone make AI recommend me?
No, and be wary of anyone who promises it. What helps is clear, consistent, accurate information about you on pages AI assistants read, linked from your other profiles.
What do you do with my name?
We use it to ask the questions and cache the answer for 7 days so a repeat check is instant. We don't create a profile or contact you.
Why is there a daily limit?
Each check runs live AI web searches, which cost real money. Everyone gets 3 checks a day.
