Terms of use
The rules, in plain words.
Last updated 18 October 2026. Also read our privacy policy and refund policy.
- The short versionBe honest about your work, respect the people who visit your page, and don't misuse featurd. Your content stays yours. You can leave with all of it at any time.
- Who we arefeaturd (featurd.me) is run by Himanshu Ranjan, an individual, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (“featurd”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using featurd you agree to these terms and our privacy policy.
- Who can use featurdYou must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. If you use featurd for a company, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for it.
- Your accountGive us accurate details and keep your sign-in safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account, including what editors you invite do on your page. Tell us straight away at hello@featurd.me if you think someone else has access. One person, one account; handles can't be sold or traded, and we may reclaim handles that impersonate others or sit unused to squat a name.
- Your contentYou own what you put on featurd. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, copy, show and process it to run featurd: on your page, in the places you turn on (the directory, Spotlight), and in the features you use, including AI features. That permission ends when you delete the content, except for copies in backups for a short time and anything others already shared. Only publish things you have the right to share, and nothing confidential that isn't yours to show.
- Be truthfulClaims about your work, results and clients must be true. Badges like Verified and “Confirmed by” come only from real checks, and trying to fake them (impersonating a client, using someone else's work email, editing a confirmed line to change its meaning) gets your page removed.
- Acceptable useYou may not use featurd to publish, sell or link to:
- phishing, credential collection, scams, fake giveaways, or pages pretending to be another person, brand, bank or government body;
- illegal goods or services, including drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods, gambling where it's not licensed, pyramid or MLM schemes, and unregistered investment, crypto or “guaranteed returns” offers;
- sexually explicit content or sexual services (no adult content at all on featurd), anything sexualising minors, or non-consensual intimate images;
- hate, harassment, threats, or content promoting violence or self-harm;
- spam: bulk unsolicited messages, link farms, keyword stuffing, or pages made only to game search engines;
- malware, viruses or links to them, or anything that probes, overloads or breaks featurd or other services;
- content that infringes someone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
- AI-generated content presented in a misleading way, such as fake testimonials, fake reviews, deepfakes of real people, or invented credentials.
- Tracking and your visitorsfeaturd tells you when your page or a link you sent is opened. Use that to follow up at a sensible moment, not to pressure or harass anyone. If you add your own analytics, you're responsible for following the rules that apply to them. Leads and messages you collect are yours to handle lawfully; only email people who asked to hear from you.
- Recruiters and SpotlightRecruiters must use a real company account and contact people only about genuine roles or projects. No bulk messaging, scraping, reselling profiles or contacting people outside featurd using what you learned in Spotlight without their agreement. We can limit or close recruiter accounts that break these rules.
- Creator products and salesIf you sell or give away products on your page (e-books, templates, sessions, courses and the like), you are the seller. You are responsible for the product, its description, delivery, support, any licences you need, your own refund policy, and your own taxes and income reporting. featurd provides the tools and is not a party to the sale between you and your buyer. Paid products are sold through your own payment account (Stripe, Razorpay or another checkout you link): that provider's terms and fees apply, buyers see you as the seller and the provider as the processor, and featurd never receives or holds the money and takes no commission. You are responsible for collecting and paying any VAT, GST or sales tax due on your sales (optional Stripe Tax only calculates it), for receipts and invoices, and for refunds and chargebacks on your account. You give featurd restricted access to your payment account only to create checkouts, read payment status and manage the webhook we add; you can disconnect it at any time. We may remove products that break these terms. featurd's own subscriptions are sold through Dodo Payments as merchant of record (see below).
- AI features (Ivo, AI Radar)Ivo and other AI features generate text, designs and images automatically. AI output can be wrong, out of date or similar to other people's output. Check it before you publish; you're responsible for what you publish, including AI output. Don't use AI features to create content this page doesn't allow. AI Radar shows what AI assistants said about you when we asked; we don't control those assistants and can't guarantee their answers or your ranking in them. We don't train AI models on your content.
- Ivo creditsAI features use credits. Each plan includes a monthly amount, shown on pricing, that resets on the 1st of each month (UTC). Unused credits don't roll over, have no cash value, can't be transferred or refunded, and aren't sold separately. We may change what an action costs in credits, and will show current costs on the pricing page. We may limit use that looks automated or abusive.
- Plans, renewals and cancellationThe free plan is free for good. Pro starts with a 14-day trial that never charges you automatically. Paid plans are sold by our reseller and merchant of record, Dodo Payments, which handles checkout, tax and invoices; their terms also apply to the payment. Prices include applicable tax (GST in India, VAT or sales tax elsewhere). A paid plan renews automatically each month or year at the price shown when you bought it until you cancel; for Indian cards and UPI, Dodo sends any notices the RBI e-mandate rules require. Cancel any time in Settings: no further charges, and Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for. If a renewal payment fails, Pro stays on for 7 days while the payment is retried, then your account moves to Free and your page stays live. We'll email you at least 30 days before any price change for an existing subscription. See pricing.
- Founding member termsFounding membership is limited to the first 1,000 paid founding seats and is billed yearly only. While your founding subscription keeps renewing without a break, your founding price is locked and won't go up. If you cancel, you keep founding status and Pro until the end of the year you paid for; after that your seat is released and can't be reclaimed, and coming back later means paying the then-current price. If a founding payment is refunded or disputed, founding status and Pro end immediately and the seat is released. Founding seats are personal and can't be transferred. Founding members get the features of Pro as Pro changes over time, not a fixed feature list.
- RefundsWe offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on featurd plans. The details, including founding seats and products bought from creators, are in our refund policy. Mandatory consumer rights where you live are not affected.
- Copyright and takedownsWe respect intellectual property and act on valid notices, in line with India's IT Act and IT Rules 2021 and similar laws elsewhere (including notices in the form of the US DMCA).
Sending a notice. Email abuse@featurd.me (subject “Copyright notice”) with: your name and contact details; the work you own (or are authorised to act for); the exact featurd URL(s) of the material; a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised by the owner, its agent or the law; a statement that your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act for them; and your physical or electronic signature. We aim to act on complete notices within 36 hours and tell the page owner.
Counter-notice. If your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, email us with: your name, address and contact details; the removed material and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake; your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts named below (or, for US users, your local federal court); and your signature. We'll forward it to the person who complained and may restore the material after 10 to 14 business days unless they tell us they've started legal action.
Repeat infringers. We close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe others' rights. Knowingly false notices or counter-notices may make you liable for damages. - Suspension and terminationYou can stop using featurd and delete your account at any time from Settings; deleting your account cancels any paid plan. We may remove content, limit features, suspend or close an account if it breaks these terms or the law, puts visitors or featurd at risk, or if we're required to by law or a court or government order. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to fix it or appeal by replying to our email. For serious abuse (for example phishing, malware, child safety, fraud) we act immediately and may not give notice. If we close your account for breaking these terms, no refund is due for the remaining period. If featurd ever shuts down, you get 12 months' notice. Our promise.
- What we can’t promiseWe work hard to keep featurd running and accurate, but it's provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. We can't guarantee you'll get a job, a client, sales or an introduction, that featurd will always be available or error-free, or that search engines or AI assistants will show your page. We're not responsible for what visitors, buyers, clients or recruiters do, or for third-party services you connect.
- Limitation of liabilityTo the extent the law allows, featurd isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or opportunities. Our total liability to you for any claim about featurd is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and ₹1,000 (or US$ 15). Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for fraud.
- IndemnityIf someone makes a claim against featurd because of your content, your products or sales, or your breach of these terms or the law, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs (including legal fees) from that claim. We'll tell you about the claim and let you help defend it.
- Governing law and disputesThese terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any right you have as a consumer to bring a claim where you live. Please write to us first; most problems are solved by email.
- ChangesIf we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email you at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use featurd after that means you accept the new terms; if you don't, you can export your data and delete your account.
